Enjoy classical music at its finest as 34 of the world’s best young musicians compete in the 2018 Singapore International Violin Competition.

Lovers of classical music will thoroughly enjoy this exciting elimination-style competition, showcasing some of the world’s best young violinists. 34 candidates from 11 countries will take to the stages of Singapore’s world-class venues, including the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall, Victoria Concert Hall and the Esplanade Concert Hall.

The candidates will perform incredibly complex and well-loved pieces by many revered composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Mendelssohn and more as they compete for over US$100,000 in prize money.

The top six performers of the Competition will be rewarded with stunning sterling silver trophies from Tiffany & Co., a loan violin from the prestigious Rin Collection, and the Grand Final winner will have the opportunity to perform with some of the world’s top international orchestras.
