Now on to their fourth year of business with 2 outlets in Singapore, Pince & Pints is making its name known for offering affordable lobster dishes to the masses in the region. With a restaurant in Duxton Road, Katong and an outlet in Kuala Lumpur, Pince & Pints has bagged serveral multiple awards such as the Restaurant Association of Singapore Epicurean Star Award for being a finalist for the best seafood restaurant.

On 1st September, 4 new dishes were introduced to the Duxton and Katong outlets. Cantonese Style Steamed Lobster, Nonya Chilli Lobster Roll, Wasabi Lobster Roll and Black Pepper Lobster. Each dish was priced at $58++, along with other unique creations like the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($32++), the Lobster Noodle ($58++) and the Live Whole Lobster ($58++) that can either be served grilled or steamed.

If you are looking for something that will remind you of Singapore’s local flavours, be sure to try the Nonya Chilli Lobster Roll. Served with a side of straight-cut fries, salad and a garlic butter sauce, a generous filling of lobster meat sits comfortably on a buttery brioche bun. The lobsters that are being served are from the U.S. and one whole lobster is used for each lobster roll that is bought by a customer. The nonya chilli gives off a slightly spicy and tangy taste that greatly compliments the garlic butter sauce that can be poured on top of the fresh, chewy and flavourful lobster meat in the roll. If you’re someone who does not have a tolerance for spice, the classic lobster roll would be your next best option.

If you are visiting the restaurant with a group of friends, be sure to order some sides to make your meal a prefect one. Although the usual sides like sweet potato fries ($9++) and a serving of salad ($7++) are available, do try the fried mantou ($3.50++) that will definitely be good for dipping if you choose to order the Chilli Lobster ($58++).
