YANGON, Myanmar, Aug. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Eye Level Myanmar is proud to announce the start of the Global Eye Level Literary Award (ELLA) 2020 sponsored by DAEKYO Culture Foundation.
Every young talented writer and illustrator is welcome to participate in the writing contest. The competition has two categories: illustrated writing and writing.
In illustrated writing, Eye Level seeks out children with creativity and excellence in storytelling to encourage and acknowledge their talent. The illustrators will have to produce drawings with a 50-word caption in this category. For the writing category, the contestants should create a 3 to 4 page written response or poems. Depending on their age, participants will take part in different categories.
Due to this pandemic period, only online registrations are accepted. Online registration will be open until August 21. The participants will have to submit their works online within the allowed period.
By mid-September, local winners will be announced on the Eye Level Myanmar facebook page. They will be the nominees for the global round. The global winners will each be recognized as Grand, Gold, and Silver and receive a monetary reward ($1,000, $700, $500 respectively).
