The app "RD Connect" enhances the management-employee relationship by enabling instant recognition of good work and encourage employees to display Count on Me! core values which are being respectful, responsive and delivering a great experience.

Along with this, the app also functions as an employee bulletin board for important announcements or to organise employee engagement activities such as competitions, events and awards. The app provides management with actionable and detailed employee reports. Even though the app was not planned for the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotels are able to remotely engage and recognise their employees through the app, embracing safe management and contactless process. 

The Ramada and Days Hotels by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park are the first two properties in Singapore to be managed by the Wyndham Hotel & Resorts, amongst the five largest and most diverse hotel chain with more than 9000 hotels in 90 countries around the globe commanding a leading presence in the economy and midscale segments of the lodging industry. Wyndham initiated their "Count on Us" program at every property worldwide to build confidence among guests and welcome back travellers which helped them during COVID-19. 

RD Connect built by HokuApps functions as a peer-to-peer employee engagement solution where good work is recognised instantly, and opportunities may be identified more personally. At its simplest level, the app is based around a sticker system where employees can endorse / send recognition to each other. The hotels hold competitions through the app and employees are rewarded based on accumulated stickers. It includes real-time business chat and automated notifications. Employee details remain confidential with only the HR Department with access to any employee/team rating history.
