It seems like the hype around the cool trendy mall in the airport has not dwindled one bit. Jewel is still bustling with people, especially during the weekends. A one-time visit is simply not enough, there are just too many things to do at Jewel. If you are planning a trip and wondering what to look out for or what to do, STYLEGUIDE brings to you the few places to eat and a few things to do that we feel make the top priority when visiting (or revisiting) this mall in the airport. AC KAFE x WOOBBEE

Ever heard of Pei Pa Koa milk tea? Well, you will be surprised by the interesting blend of Premium Hokkaido milk and the syrup. For those who are unfamiliar with Pei Pa Koa, it is a herb syrup that is common in Taiwan and China, and for those who are curious, head over to AC KAFE x WOOBBEE to try it for yourselves at AC KAFE. AC KAFE is the first Designer- Art Toys themed café from the familiar franchise Action City. This concept shop at AC.Kafe, Jewel Changi Airport Level 4, is a collaboration with Action City, a retail store selling collectibles, and WOOBBEE, a bubble tea brand that provides fresh, creative and healthy bubble tea options. At AC KAFE, you will expect the use of Premium Hokkaido milk in the milk tea preparations all at an affordable price. For those who are unable to get enough of the whimsical themed café or the tasty bubble tea, WOOBBEE has four other outlets besides Jewel: Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Shaw Tower, Chinatown Point, and Fusionopolis Way.

Delighting Ideas - D!D

This store is a great place to support the local creative scene. Upon entering, be prepared to be greeted by a mosaic of colors, designs and items. D!D sells almost anything you can imagine, from stationaries such as notebooks and pencil cases, gifts, postcards and souvenirs. You can expect that every art piece, idea and design is made in collaboration with a Singapore-based illustrator, writer or photographer. D!D aims to support the local scene by providing a space for Singapore-based artists to showcase their works through merchandises. Whether you are looking for a gift or just window shopping, D!D is a store worth checking out.

HSBC Rain Vortex

Ask any visitor of Jewel and they will tell you that the iconic monument of the mall is the rain vortex in the middle. This is not just any waterfall, but it is prized as the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 40 metres high. The water is collected from rainwater and thus making it environmentally friendly. The waterfall is not only static but put on light and sound display for visitors during certain timings daily. The show comprises of the vortex acting as a projector for lights to be projected on. Shows are free, so you’re able to catch them as many times till your heart content.

Pink Fish

 The first outlet of this Norwegian fast food chain opened in Jewel and attracted many salmon fans. For all yearning for wholesome and healthy fast food options, do check out Pink Fish as this is the place for you. The chain prides itself as being sustainable and is certified as a sustainable restaurant by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council. Hence, only fish options are available, as fish is more sustainable than meat. The salmon is imported from Norway and the dishes curated are fresh and interesting – you are able to choose different dishes (salad, burgers) and an accompanying taste (Asian, American and more), Pink Fish’s menu caters to all regardless of taste buds.

Changi Experience Studio

This is a digital attraction that brings visitors through the virtual world of Changi Airport. The Changi Experience Studio is innovative and utilises the latest technology to bring to you the sights, sounds and sensations right from the virtual world. Through the different interactive touchpoints and stations, you get to learn about the Changi story, how the place came about and developed. This is a highly recommended activity for families with little ones.

Shaw Theatres Jewel

A great addition to Jewel is the cinema located at the basement. Screening all the blockbusters at the moment, the Shaw Theatres provides a place for families and friends to bond through watching movies. The theatre is just like any other Shaw theatre in Singapore and are priced the same.

Pokémon Centre Singapore

Jewel houses the very first Pokémon Centre out of Japan. Pokémon fans, this one is for you. The merchandises at this Pokémon Centre are unique to Singapore, they even carry the Singapore exclusive Pikachu plushies in the pilot and air steward uniform. The merchandises are seasonal, so do follow their Facebook or visit the store regularly if you are intending to catch ‘em all.

Canopy Park

Situated on the top floor of Jewel is an array of exciting play attractions. The ticketed admission to Canopy Park includes the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and the Topiary Walk and separate admission charges are applicable to the Canopy Bridge, Hedge Maze, Mirror Maze, Manulife Sky Nets – Bouncing, Manulife Sky Nets – Walking.  More information about the prices for each ticket can be found on the official website
